Getting here and what to bring
The banya is on the Katun river, ten minutes by car from Chemal. Here is what to know before your first visit.

Opening hours
Daily from 10:00 to 24:00; sessions start on the hour.
The last 2-hour session starts at 22:00, a 3-hour one at 21:00, a 4-hour one at 20:00.
Reaching the administrator
Send a booking or certificate request and the administrator replies the way you choose: a call or a Telegram message. The exact address and driving directions come with the confirmation.
What to bring
The suite has robes, towels, sheets, slippers, shampoo, gel and a hairdryer.
Bring a change of underwear and a hair tie. Your own hat and venik if you prefer them.
House rules
- Arrive 15 minutes early: the session ends on schedule even if it starts late.
- No alcohol anywhere in the banya, including suites and the tea room.
- You may bring your own food: lounges have a fridge and tableware.
- Children from 7 years old, with adults and only in the Herbal suite.
- No smoking in the houses or on the terraces.
Safety
- Drink water or tea between rounds.
- Do not steam on an empty stomach or right after a heavy meal.
- If you feel dizzy or unwell, leave the steam room at once and tell the administrator.
- With heart or circulation conditions, high blood pressure, pregnancy or a cold with fever, ask your doctor first.
Frequently asked questions
Can two people, or one, book a suite?
Yes. You book the whole suite, and the price stays the same as long as you are within the included number of guests.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Reply to the administrator where they confirmed your booking at least 24 hours before the start, and we cancel or move it free of charge.
Do I pay in advance?
No. You pay on site after the session, by card or cash.
How long is a steaming programme?
From 40 minutes to two and a half hours inside your booked time. With a programme, a 3-hour session leaves time to rest and have tea. The Long bench needs a session of three hours or more.
How do I get here from Gorno-Altaysk?
By car along the Chemal road, about two hours. If you need a transfer, mention it in the booking comment and the administrator will suggest options.
Is there parking?
Yes, the banya has its own parking for six cars.
Can children come?
From 7 years old, with adults and only in the Herbal suite: the heat is gentle and there is no cold plunge.
