How to steam here
A domed hall lined with mosaic; in the centre a warm marble platform to lie on and warm up. The air is about 50 °C and almost fully humid, so the heat wraps rather than burns. Water comes from carved marble basins.
For guests who dislike dry heat: soft and humid. This is where the Kese and foam programme takes place.
No plunge pool — rinsing from marble basins
There is no stove to pour water on: a steam generator fills the room, and the floor, walls and platform are heated.
About 50 °C at almost 100 % humidity: stay 15–20 minutes and lie on the warm marble.
There is no cold plunge: you rinse with warm, then cool water from the marble basins.
